  • How does your audience response system work?
The question is shown to the audience on a display screen. Each person in the audience then presses a button on their keypad as their response. Meridia collects all the votes then displays the result as a bar graph back on the display screen. The presenter comments on the results then proceeds to the next question.

  • How can I incorporate Meridia Audience Response questions into my Powerpoint presentation?
Questions can be set up to easily fall into place upon queue during your presentation. When your Powerpoint presentation calls for a Meridia question, the video can switch to seamlessly transition to our display. Once finished with the Meridia Audience Response question(s), the video is switched back to your presentation.

  • How many people can I have in the audience using the Meridia Audience Response system?
We handle everything from very small focus groups of a few people, up through large conventions of several thousand.

  • What if I want to make a change to the questions during my presentation?
Changes are never a problem. Our system has been designed with that flexibility in mind. At any time, you can skip questions, add new questions, ask questions more than once, change the content of existing questions, add or remove answers, and more--whenever it's required, before or during your event.

  • How long does the audience have to answer a question?
That's entirely up to you. We can provide an on-screen clock to indicate the amount of time you've specified for the vote, or leave the vote open until you decide to close it.

  • What if I'm using a keypad and change my mind after I've already answered?
That's not a problem. Our system is designed to handle that situation. We can follow along with any vote change, then lock in your final answer.

  • How long does it take to set up the system on site?
Most of the hardware is up and running within 15 minutes. After that, distributing the keypads is a quick process, but varies proportionally to the size of the event.

  • Do you provide wired keypads, or only wireless?
It's hard to believe, but once in a while we still get asked about wired keypads. The answer is ONLY wireless. We tested wired keypads in the 1980s when it was cutting edge, but quickly saw the flaws in those systems.

  • Do you encounter interference with cell phones or wireless microphones?
No. The frequencies we use are registered with the FCC and are outside the range of those types of devices.
